SuperMap iEdge currently only provides decompression packages (with .zip extensions) This form of distribution is for users to use on Windows systems, including 32-bit and 64-bit distributions.
SuperMap iEdge provides 32-bit and 64-bit decompression packages (with .zip extension), no need to install, after decompression package can be used directly.
After decompression, in the [SuperMap iEdge product directory] / bin directory, you will see the startup ibpress service batch file startup.bat, you can directly double-click to run.
If the SuperMap iEdge product directory is located on the operating system disk (C drive), the service startup will fail because the operating system's authority can not be written to the log file. You need to run startup.bat as an administrator. Specific operation, open cmd.exe as administrator (administrator: command prompt), switch the path to the [SuperMap iEdge product directory] / bin, run startup.bat as follows:
C:\WINDOWS\system32>cd /d C:\Program Files\supermap_iEdge_*_win64_zip\bin
C:\Program Files\supermap_iEdge_711_win64_zip\bin>startup.bat
After stop iEdge service, directly delete SuperMap iEdge extract directory.
Only when the user does not want to use JRE (Java Runtime Environment)comes with SuperMap iEdge, it needs to manually configure. SuperMap iEdge 2025 uses the JRE comes with the package (located in the% SuperMapiEdge2025% \ support directory)by default.
Before manual configuration, you need to rename or delete the jre directory in the% SuperMapiEdge2025% \ support directory.
JRE (1.8 or later) sets the environment variables as follows:
Advanced users can also customize the JRE by directly modifying% SuperMapiEdge2025% \ bin \ setenv.bat.
