Product Installation

SuperMap iServer provides 64-bit setup package, which are installed consistently. The following is a detailed introduction.

Before installation, please check whether the installation machine meets the minimum hardware and software configuration requirements of SuperMap iServer. If yes, please follow the steps below to complete the installation of SuperMap iServer on a Windows system:

(1) Insert the SuperMap iServer product installation CD into the CD-ROM drive (e.g. G:). If the system allows automatic operation, the SuperMap iServer installation and startup interface will appear. Otherwise, go to the CD drive to find the SuperMap iServer installation directory, and double-click the setup.exe installation file to display the SuperMap iServer installation and startup interface.

(2) After the preparation phase is completed, a dialog box will pop up saying "Welcome to SuperMap installation program". Click the Next button to continue the installation.

(3) Pop up the license agreement dialog box, please read the end-user license agreement carefully. If you accept this agreement, please select I accept the terms in the license agreement and click the Next button. If you do not accept the terms of the license agreement, please click the Cancel button to exit the installation.

(4) Pop up the Installation Instructions dialog box, describing some basic requirements for installing software. Click Next to continue the installation.

(5) Continue the installation and a dialog box for installation type will pop up. The system defaults to all options, and users can choose different installation methods according to their needs. Click Next button to continue the installation.

(6) Select the installation path, and the system will provide a default installation path. If you want to install SuperMap iServer to another directory, click the Browse button and select the installation path in the pop-up dialog box. You can also manually fill in the target path in the text box displaying the installation path.

(7) Continue the installation, and the ready to install dialog box will pop up. Click the Install button to enter the installation status.

Note : If the user selects the custom mode installation, the select feature dialog box will pop up. The custom installation only installs the features checked in the list. When the selection is complete, click Next button.

(8) Continue the installation, pop up the Installation Status dialog box, and enter the installation status. You can cancel the installation by clicking Cancel button.

(9) After the installation is completed, the system pops up the installation completion dialog box. Click the Finish button to complete the installation of SuperMap iServer.
